Production of the half dime continued with a new Draped Bust design. The first variety, produced from 1796-1797, featured a small eagle reverse. Following a short hiatus, production resumed in 1800 with a second variety, featuring a larger heraldic eagle reverse, before ending in 1805. Mintages were low in all years of this series.
