Half Cents

The Half Cent is the lowest denomination coinage ever produced by the United States Mint. Introduced in 1793, the Half Cent underwent several design changes--similar to the Large Cent--until production ceased in 1857. Few were made during any production year, making them relatively rare, especially in higher grades.
